Hello Everyone,

Today I have my 3rd and final interview with a major hospital here in Chicago. I have no experience at all but I passed the assessment test that the hospital gave me on my 1st interview. I really think that I did a good job on the second interview and today I have my final interview... I was wondering if someone could let me kno what should I be expecting to day within the interview process. For example when the interviewer askes me "Tell me about yourself" what kind of things should I say? Any and all advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks CnaBeauty,

Tell about your personality traits and experience (as a volunteer) or just life experience in other jobs that will make you an asset to their facility. For example, fast learner, work well as a team, good at prioritizing and multitasking, good at relating with different people. Your experience doesn't have to be medical, you just have to play up skills that will make you valuable to them. Think out of the box a little..did you help out at Vacation Bible School? Were you a junior camp counselor? Did you babysit or help take care of a grand or great-grandparent? If this is a second career.. what skills from your former career helped you in nursing school?

Relax and focus on what you can bring to them. Remember to breathe and good luck!

Tell them about yourself, why you chose their facility, what your plans are, your strengths. If they ask for weaknesses, say something like "I hope to become more outspoken" instead of saying "I'm really shy."
