I graduated a year ago this month with my bachelors of science in nursing and I only took my NCLEX-RN once, and I failed on my 1st attempt. I was very distraught and heartbroken to say the least. Since failing on my 1st try I have moved to a different state with my mom due to personal family issues, had to stay with a relative until we could get on our feet and now my mom and I have found our own place but I HAVE to work 2 jobs (so does my mom) just so that we can pay bills. When I was living with our relative I was not able to study due to the fact that they had children and the atmosphere wasn't right. Now I try to study but it's difficult working 2 jobs and still having the energy and TIME to study adequately. I am using the Saunders NCLEX-RN PREP BOOK but I feel like I am getting through it very SLOWLY! I want to take the test soon because I don't want my mom to have to work like this much longer (I feel like I should be taking care of her and not being a burden)and I feel like this study strategy is taking too long. I guess what I'm asking is does anyone know a more adequate way to study given my situation. I have though about using UWorld for like a month and seeing what results I get with that. I am getting really discouraged and I am losing hope and I am starting to feel like I'm not meant to be a registered nurse anymore.
