I Need Help! I want to be an LPN and live in Daytona

Hi everyone! I'm going to complete my CNA soon and I need some help locating an LPN program. I'm not too familiar with the LPN programs from my area (St. Augustine, Daytona, and Palm Coast). I plan on working as a CNA while I'm in school for my LPN. Where would be my best bets as far as looking for employment as a CNA. Any help at all would be great! I'm wondering if there is an LPN program that is 1 year long offered, if not, how long are they and what should I expect. I'm also a male and heard that I may get hired on quicker. I really don't see how that is true, but if anyone could please help me. I'm really eager to begin my new career but have no direction. Thank you!!
