Hey everyone, I haven't ever posted but I always look on the site for help. I now need help like ASAP. I have a paper due soon, its only 4 pages in length but I'm so confused on the topic, I need some help and some insight, if anyone can.
Topic = explore implications of interprofessional collaboration for the nursing profession and make recommendations for the future - Utilize CNA's interprofessional collaboration position, choose either principle 2 (population health approach) or principle 3 (quality care and services), descrive two or three implications for the nursing profession, and for each implication make at least two recommendations that will improve interprofessional collaboration in nursing.
heres the position statement.

I'm so lost on this one. I understand that an implication is something that the nurse has to do, but what does the nurse have to do for interprofessional collaboration for either of those principles?

I am trying to decipher what you wrote. The main point is to discuss the positives of collaboration among other healthcare providers, right? So, you pick one principle. I will choose principle number 3, quality care and services. Now I need to find two to three implications to tie everything together.
So, how does collaborating with other healthcare providers provide for better quality care and services?
Google this question and begin looking through the information that comes up. There is plenty of information to help you come up with your three implications. Once you do, then come up with two recommendations to implement the implication. Many healthcare facilities are moving towards a more patient centered care approach. Also google healthcare team collaboration + benefits and see what comes up.
I hope this helps.
that does help. i'm focusing on population health approach in relation to aboriginals, as they are a minority in canada that frequently slips through the cracks. so far i have engaging in community participation as a implication and two recommendations are to increase interprofessional collaboration with members of their community and to ensure healthcare professionals have education regarding holistic practices and how to apply it. my next implication i'm a little wary about but i want my recommendations to be increase evidence based research and to increase resources but i don't really know what my implication is - lol this ones a horrible horrible paper, i can say that
