My advice is that you need to learn to live with a little fear -- because that is just the way life is. Sometimes, we get lucky -- like you did -- and get a chance to see if we can make our dreams a reality. It's always a little scarey to actually try something new -- maybe we won't like it as much as we thought we would ... maybe it will be more difficult than we thought it would be ... etc. That's just the way life is.
As a nurse, you will need to be trying new things and facing new challenges on a regular basis. Instead of wallowing in fear, anxiety, or self-pity ... embrace the adventure and focus on moving forward towards your goals. Yes, you will stumble occasionally. Yes, there will be days on which you question the wisdom of your career choice. Yes, there will be frustrations and set-backs. During those times, you have to remember why you became a nurse in the first place and embrace the challenges as being part of a career that you really want to succeed in -- and keep putting one foot in front of the other as you move forward.

Hello everyone,
So I have wanted to be a nurse for a very long time now. I have a deep passion for helping others. I would be a nurse even if I wasn't getting paid to do it! Now that I have finally been accepted into a wonderful BSN program, I am afraid. I am scared that I will not succeed in nursing school. I was full of faith in the beginning, but now that I have officially been accepted I am full of doubt and fear. Can someone please give me some advice on what I can do to rebuild my faith. Thanks in advance!
