Hi.
Im a certified medical assistant with a GED im 18 years old.
My goal in life is to work as a pediatric nurse-practitioner and/or midwife.
But i am wondering if my GED is going to hold me back from getting this.I already have some experience in the field and I know that I can do this and if only colleges would base entrance based on skill rather then money and SAT's and GPAs I would be SOOOOO happy lol but im just not sure if my goal is possible.
thanks =]

It's your pre-reqs that get you into nursing school. For your general ed and pre-reqs, you can go to a community college with a GED and no SAT. I did it. Then you prove yourself with excellent grades in your prereqs.
^Thank you so much. that really helps alot.:heartbeat
