Hi everybody,
I have an interview for a position in med surg coming up. I have a year of experience in Home Health and Hospice nursing. I could really use some interview tips and suggestions of basic skills to review.
Thanks:rolleyes:

what skills did you learn that were unique to your role in HH/hospice?
how do the skills/exp. translate to hosp. nursing?
how have you handled emergencies in your role?
how will you keep your pts safe. are you ready for 6-10 pts per shift?
vital signs/foleys/restraints IV push meds--some skills for med surg
just some questions to get you focused on the uniqueness your experience brings
to the role.
depending on the interviewer--there may be more scenario based questions--- remember ABC's and ask for help.
