I had the oral Polio vaccine when I was a kid, it says on Wikipedia that OPV immunization is life time. Booster Polio vaccine is required on my nursing school "record of immunization" form, my question is should I still get a booster Polio vaccine? Will it actually not be a good thing since I've already had opv before? ps. I can't find my opv record anymore.
thank you.

Typically, if you are already immune to a disease it won't hurt you if you get re-immunized. The military does it all the time...it's way easier just to give someone another shot than to try to track down their immunization records!!
If for some reason you really don't want to get re-immunized, many nursing schools will accept a blood titer showing that you already have a level of immunity to certain diseases.
