Hey guys,
im new to this site and I guess you can say I need some feedback... I'm currently a nursing student in a AAS program that has recently took a turn.. I'm a B+ average student with a GPA of 3.89 and recently I have just made it past pharmacology and fundamentals of nursing. I have just moved on to med-surg and our teacher is making this class impossible... Our quizzes are only worth a point but the entire class failed both of them and we just had our first exam and I made a 58/F... This is very unlike me and I studied my butt off only to find that this exam was made by the teacher and didn't go by the book at all so I didn't even need to study... We go by the 10 point scale and need an 80 in the class to carry on... Is this possible? We still have two tests and a final but as hard as that first exam was... I don't see a redemption... I talked to the teacher and she said no one fails that quick but I've seen how hard that is to pull up... My average is a 59... Any feedback helps... Thanks

Yes. You can.
put your mind to it and give it everything you've got. You have a 60 average and need an 80 with 3 more tests and I'm assuming the final is weighted differently. If you don't pass, retake the class or go to another school. Nothing is ever the endo of the world- if you want it bad enough, you'll pass. It took me 7 years, but I did it and you can too.
Thank you very much for your reply! I think it's a fear more than anything but to be a year away to be set back would be heart breaking. The final is work 35% and the 3 exams are worth 50 all together. So I guess I still could do it. I just have never been in this big of a hole starting off.
