I applied this year and have not heard anything. From reading previous years posts it appears it is a pretty long process. It looks like some people have heard back as early as July but many not until October. I am getting impatient because I have been at my current workplace for a year and I only plan on continuing to work there if I get the loan repayment otherwise I would like to find something much better. The Hospital I work at is a critical shortage facility with a rating of 17. I have about 23,000 to pay back in student loans and my base salary is about 45,000 so I'm not sure how much of a chance I have in receiving the award but I figured I would give it a shot.
I already posted this in another thread so I'm just going to copy and paste..
I got the finalist email this morning for the Nurse Corps LRP, accepted and signed the contract, and am now under final review. I am so thrilled and a little in shock still. I am an RN working in public health with a crippling debt to income ratio, so this is such a blessing. Good luck everyone! :)

@Katiefox21 if you don't mind me asking what tier, debt percentage do you have. Thanks and Congratulations!
@Kdoodle06 Tier one and >300% debt to income ratio. I'm not even sure exactly what the ratio is to be honest, but when it's that high does it even make a difference? Ha! But that's what I get for going to a 5 year private nursing program in Philadelphia and then moving to a low income area of Arizona to work in public health! Lots of debt and very low income, but I am doing something that I am passionate about. I honestly would not have been able to stay in this job that I love so much for much longer without this program, so this is going to be totally life changing for me! Just anxiously awaiting that welcome packet now! Good luck to you!

I applied for the HRSA loan repayment program this year. i submitted my application and all of the documentation required months ago. I am wondering if anyone else has applied for the program this year and if they've heard anything. I have received no communication from them whatsoever, and when I go onto their webpage, I don't see a place where I can log in and check the status of my application. Anyone know anything about this?
