How to study for online courses?

Students Pre-Nursing

Hi, I am taking A&P I this fall and it is an online course, due to my university only offering it online.

My academic advisor also told me it was a difficult course, and that online courses are sometimes more difficult as well.

Do I need to study for it differently due to it being online?

Good day, ilovebirds:

Over the past year, I've taken one to several online classes per semester, though never ever a science with a lab component. While I'm pro online classes, I would never recommend taking a core science prerequisite (AP1, AP2, Microbiology) completely online (blended where you take lecture online and lab along with lecture tests on campus are ok).

Have you talked with your advisor as to what other options you have available? Are there any nearby community colleges where you can take AP1 and AP2 (you typically need to take both at the same school) on campus (or at least blended)?

For online, it will require far more discipline, dedication, time management and either using youtube.com or iTunes university to supplement.

Thank you.

Thank you VERY much for the advice!

Unfortunately, I don't *think* it is an option at this point. Had I known at an earlier time, I would have chosen a community college for A&P.
