I am graduating from my program in May of this year and I was wondering how soon is too soon to get the ball rolling on the licensing process? Does the application expire after a certain time frame? I'm trying to get everything all set so that when I receive my ATT, I can register for the NCLEX and get my temporary practice permit. Thanks!!

Your program should hopefully advise you on this, as it can differ from state to state. In CO I had the majority of my application to the board filled out a month before graduation, and then I filled in a few other things and submitted it right after. The main thing to submit after graduation is the official transcript. I received my ATT pretty quickly and some classmates tested 2-3 weeks after graduation. But again, depends on the school and the state.
