How to select a good new graduate nursing residency program/ internships

I will be graduating from an Accelerated BSN program July 30th and am looking into new graduate nursing residency programs/ internships. I seen somewhere that it would be good to select a UHC/ANCC accredited program and I was wondering if there are any other accreditations I should consider and be aware of. I also have heard about the different type hospitals in regards to levels or something. I am hoping someone can enlighten me.

There are so many new grads applying for every new grad and non-new grad position (the last one I applied for had 1200+ applicants), you might want to consider applying for every one you can find, and hope to get into any that will accept you.
