How is the Northridge Hospital Versant new grad residency?

Published

I just recently got a job at Northridge Hospital as a new grad RN in their Versant Residency Program. I am very excited to have gotten the position, and I want to learn a little more about the program. I have read up on the general elements of the Versant program; however, I have a couple of questions for people who have gone through the program.

1. What was your experience with the program at Northridge? Was it supportive? Did you feel like it was worth all the hype about the Versant program?

2. What was your starting salary, and was there any level of negotiation? How often do they give raises and at what percent?

3. Does Northridge offer night and weekend differentials?

4. How do you feel now that you're out of the program? Is the hospital still very supportive?

5. What are your general observations about the hospital culture?

I will be going into HR next week to get some of this information, but I'd like to go in a little prepared for what I'm going to see.

Thanks a bunch!

I just got interviewed for their new grad program. When do you start? Did you find out any of this information?

I have an interview coming up this week. If you don't mind sharing, how was your interview experience and what types of questions were you asked?

I hope your interview went well (since I'm sure you've had it by now)!

What unit did you interview for?

Thank you! I hope so too. I interviewed for Tele. What about you?

I interviewed for Tele too! Hopefully we both get it :). Do you know how many spots they have for the two Tele units?

Check your inbox :) I sent you a message!
