How much money for books????

I will be starting my first nursing classes this Jan 03' and was wondering about how much money did any of you spend on one semester for your nursing books??? I know they are expensive but not sure how expensive. :eek:

According to the information I received from my school, books can cost upwards $700 for the duration of class. I would figure that you will spend most of your book money right in the beginning and just get additional books as you progress.

Mine will cost $734. I am hoping to find some used to reduce this cost a little. :)

So far, each semester I have spent around $400 for required books, and more for "recommended" books. I haven't had luck finding my books used because they are all 2001 or 2002 publication dates. I was able to get my drug guide and diagnostic testing book on half.com for a much lower price than I could find them other places.
