How many of you...

How many of you are required to take a HESI, every semester, in your school?

I'm asking because my school requires us to. They basically serve as a final for each semester and count as 40% of our grade. They are supposedly written NCLEX style and are designed to prepare us for the exam.

We are required to take it but it does not count as a grade.

Do you take it every semester ?

We take ATI every semester and its pass or fail the course.

ATI and HESI are not the same thing.

We have ATI as a learning supplement with practice tests/quizzes.

I take it every semester! It used to be an exit requirement, but now it's just another test grade.

We are only required to take it yearly, but does not count as a grade. They are requiring the next years' class to pass it to graduate, but that was not required for our class.

I know of some schools that do what yours does, I'm glad I didn't apply there.

We have to take it in our last semester of school, but it doesn't count towards our grade or decide if we pass or not.

We take ATI, but not for a grade. Our program has a 96% pass rate for the NCLEX-PN and a 98% pass rate for the NCLEX-RN.

we utilize ATI as well and we have to get 90% or better in each of the modules we're assigned and completed by a certain date and that is considered 5% of our grade. We don't do HESI - we do take the ATI predictor exam at the end and its counted as 3 points on our leadership grade if we get level 3, 2 points for 2 and 1 point for level 1.

My program used ATI but it wasn't for a grade. It was a supplement to the course.

Our school has just implemented it starting with our class. We will take it every semester and it will be 5% of our grade. Any idea how much it cost for each test? We haven't gotten much info about it.
