How many here work full time at a location but practice moonlighting to pick up extra cash?

I have just started doing so at a local surgery center and I was curious what others experiences have been like.....

Were you made to carry you own medical malpractice policy?

Thanks in advance and I love this site.

I work for an national agency doing locums for a week here and a week there. I would prefer to do my own just haven't had time to start sending out info to hospitals. Got a sweet gig coming up where all I do is carry a pager for call. Cases are schedules only 3 days a week and this will be to cover the weekend. Not bad for 3 days work and about $3300

moonlighting is basically locum tenens. Typical locums carry their own insurance or the agency that places them picks it up. There are thousands of CRNA's that do this. In the right market, you can charge a nice sum for daily work.
