Hi Everyone ! I wanted to see if anyone had any advise or insight on how to make yourself more marketable for a new grad position. I'm apply in San Diego and the job market for new grads is more limited than I previously thought. I was in an Accelerated BSN program ( I'm from CA but went out of state) and didn't realize I should have worked as a nurse extern until I was about to graduate (kicking myself). I did work as a NA but that was a while ago. Would having some certifications (ACLS, IV cert) be the route to go ? (I would like to avoid working in a SNF starting out.) I appreciate any tips !! ?
