Houston Area Hospitals

Hello :) I'm planning on moving to Houston, TX next year or so, particularly Sugar Land. I'm currently in Missouri and have 1 1/2 yr RN experience in MedSurg, ED and Neuro. A lot of my co-workers have told me that Houston pays well for RNs and the cost of living is the same as MO. Plus it would be so nice to live without snow! My question is what is an estimated pay range for Houston or Sugar Land hospitals? Salary.com is not specific enough, it is totally wrong for MO nurses. Also, which are the best hospitals to work for? I've read about Methodist and St. Lukes in Sugar Land. Any others? I'm planning on visiting there sometime next year. I've been researching and I thought asking the TX nurses on AllNurses would be beneficial. Please share your thoughts. Thanks in advance!
