I am an LPN that has been doing pediatric home health (trach, ventilator, gtube) for 8 years. The local hospital is hiring LPN's for med/surg. They were not for a long time. I went to an interview and it went very well. Meaning...they are hurting for nurses.....ha ha. What are good resources to catch up on med/surg practices in a hospital if I am hired. I know they will train me. But, if I am hired are there any good books to shore up my knowledge that might be helpful to increase my chances of success?
