Hello all! I recently applied for the Practical Nursing program at Holmes Grenada campus. I received an email today regarding the COMPASS testing date acceptance. I have a couple questions about the program for the previous class. What is considered a good score for the COMPASS? If you would, I would like your stats (GPA, COMPASS score, ACT score). Also when should I expect to get a decision? Lastly, how many seats are available? All replies are welcome. Thanks!

Hey!! I received the same letter today! I've been googling but can't find much. From what I hear it's pretty basic stuff, but you really never know!
I heard that too. I'm trying to figure out if I'm competitive enough.

I took it yesterday I don't think I did that good I made a 74 in reading a 78 in English and a 23 on pretty algebra the test isn't hard the reading to me was basic the English was correcting 3 essays and anwsering 2 questions each on them and the math had word problems percentages and square roots I don't think I did well but I made a 17 on my act and I don't have a GPA I will be a freshman this fall
Yeah!! Mine went ok I guess. She said they only accept thirty. I was placed on alternate #13 for the ADN program. My compass scores are 99 English, 88 Reading, and 40 for pre algebra? 20 for Algebra. I'm horrible in math and haven't taken it since my freshmen year in college 4 years ago !! Yikes.
I received my rejection letter.
I'm sorry... I've applied so many times to programs and been getting them, too! You'll get in.. I haven't received anything yet. My husband called for me and they said they will be sending letters today. Not sure why I haven't received an email.
Thanks so much for a listening ear
You're welcome! Where else have you applied?? And did your letter come through email?
Hey, have you heard anything back yet?
I never received an email. I called, didn't get in at Holmes Grenada.
Blessings to everyone still trying. Just stay hopeful and keep faith that the Lord is listening. We just have to do our part and keep working at it.
blessings!!!
