Holds on my UF for generic BSN 2014 account? Could this mean something?

Published

So I applied to UF's Generic BSN for fall 2014. I went into my ISIS account and noticed that I had holds. It said I need "immunization records, emergency contact info, and a permanent mailing address" before I can register for classes. So does these mean something? Does anyone else have these holds on their account?

sorry for the heading. typo on my cell phone.

I applied as well, but have not received any holds. You might want to email Kenneth Foote, he is the coordinator for the nursing program. Acceptance/rejection letters will be mailed early June.

I emailed him, but it was if he couldn't give me any information on it. I also asked him a couple other questions as well, so maybe he just forgot to answer it. Have you applied or been accepted anywhere else besides UF?

Call the school and see if someone can help you... I have applied to a couple of other schools, but at this point, I am playing the waiting game until early June.

Yeah me too. what do you think about FSU and UCF's nursing programs?

Both are very good schools to apply. I think UCF requires an interview and take the TEAS exam in addition. Not sure the requirements for FSU. I live in Ocala, Fl., so Gainesville is the closest to commute and not able to move to another city. I applied to community colleges just in case I do not get into UF. I am afraid of the transfer rate being low and competitiveness of the program. Whatever school you decide, you will have a Bachelor's degree, talk to people who are in the programs of those schools, and look at their graduation rate and program's school ranking.
