Specializes in Operating room, Emergency room.

Hi! I was a little bit nervous :uhoh3: when a visiting doctor from UK did a very complicated case of aorto bifem bypass in Libya. It's not that i'm not used to doing it coz in fact i've been doing that kind of case for almost 3 years. maybe because i really wanted to please him. operation lasted to 4 hours which is quite normal time span of a certain operation in Libya but it was a complicated case aside from the fact that it's a redone job. with a tremendous skills of this British doctors, operation was succesful. I was on a cloud9 :spin: during the 4 hour operation coz this British doctor kept telling me that i'm good, i'm the best. maybe because i've really tried hard to make everything perfect. and maybe because of my experiences in this kind of case it was'nt really that hard to be able to cope up with his expectations. I was much more overwhelmed when in fact he offered a great job to join his team in UK and go around the world when invited to teach for other countries. I was so happy :lol2: but still i turned it down because i could'nt possibly leave my family and friends behind. I wanna share this experience to you all for inspiration especially for the newbies in OR. How about you? Do you have any achievements or good praises you received from a superior or even a difficult procedure performed succesfully? please let me know, i'm dying to hear those similar stories.
