I'm a CUNY student, i haven't taken classes in almost a year now. My current GPA at my school is below 2.0. I want to get my life back on track. I know there is a requirement and waiting for the clinical part of nursing, but i'm planning on apply as a transfer student to QCC or La Guardia for nursing. Is there a requirement for pre-clinical or does pre-clinical just mean the certain classes you take before? As in.. can i just get accepted into the school and take those certain classes? Thanks for all your help

Pre-clinical are just the classes you take before the clinical phase. However, before you get to the clinical phase you need to have a GPA of about 3.5 or higher, so basically getting pretty good grades in your pre-clinical courses. Taking pre-clinical courses does not make you a nursing student, you still have to apply for the program.
