HEY Calif. nurses: what is protocol for earthquakes?

After reading the article about the 6.5 earthquake off the coast of northern CA today, and reading that

it shook up the area around the Crescent City facility, I was just curious as to what protocol in the corrections

facilities are if and when your facility is involved in a significant (okay, or even small) earthquake. Just wondering

what the staff does and what the inmates that are out, do. Knowing that the electrical fences are high voltage-wondering if the fences have ever been down...are they de-energized...etc.

I've dealt with the threat of tornadoes, hurricanes and floods. Never had to tackle earthquakes, and

without a doubt, that is the thing that is most unsettling to me.
