HESI a2 for Orvis School of Nursing (University of Nevada, Reno)

Hi all,

I have submitted my application for the upcoming Spring 2017 semester. Just trying to get a feel for how people did on their HESI exams. If you are applying to a different school and had to take the HESI as well I would love to know how you did.

My test results:

READING COMPREHENSION: 94%

GRAMMAR: 96%

A&P: 100%

MATH: 96%

CUMULATIVE: 96.5%

I do not recall all the sections percentages but my math was 92% and the overall was 87.5%. The school im intrested in required reading, grammar, vocabulary, math, A&P, Bio, and Chem. The learning and personality styles were not graded. Personity was calm/people.

Thanks for your response, AnewNur! Wow, the bio and chem sections would have freaked me out. I'm glad I didn't have to take those sections. What program are you applying to??

The bio was ok...Chem section had 2-3 questions from the periodic table without having a diagram of it:down:...the Elsevier HESI A2 book helped a lot....I'm applying to Palm Beach State College Part time program in FL...Not a lot of schools offer part time...

heyy, I currently just applied to UNR also but for fall 2017 your scores are amazing and I was wondering how you studied, I havent taken the test soon but i know the book I found had physics, but it doesnt seem like you got tested on that.

So i made sure to set aside at least two hours of study every day for a month before I took my hesi. I purchased the elsevier study book and studied it religiously. Other than that, i basically just scoured the internet for as many practice questions as possible.

did you have physics in your exam book or did yours only include math, english , and A&P, also do you have the book and can send me a picture of the cover page

This school definitely is a racist school. They just discrimate againt Hispanic. Someone should sue them.
