I wanted to know is NClex similar to Hesi? I really don't know about these exams. The only ones I saw that my school needed was Hesi and ATI (TEAS). Is Nclex an entrance exam that is not given in Texas? I wanted to ask you guys are there any website that provides practice exam or old exams, much help is needed . I wanted to see what the questions are like. I only have 2 class for the summer so I have some free time to study. I would like to review and look over some questions before I take the exam.

Well... I do know that some people take a HESI and some take a NET and some take a TEAS exam to get into nursing school. There are other HESI exams that are used for testing midterm and exit upon finishing school. NCLEX is the exam that you take to actually get your license. NCELX-RN and NCLEX-PN, depending on if you are doing RN or LPN (LVN).
If you are wanting to study for the pre-entrance exam, then here is a site that has flashcards and such (you can even make your own.)
Flash cards, vocabulary memorization, and studying games | Quizlet
There are also books that you can find on Amazon.com to prep you for the entrance exams. Reading comprehension, math (ratio:proportions, long division, etc...), science, a&p is on there... it's not really a hard test though. I didn't study for it and I was in the 95% on everything.
Good luck!
Thank you student4lyf. I don't really know why they dont just make one standard test. I have to take 3 different exams for three different school. Yeah I agreed student4lyf. I'm pretty confident with my knowledge. I don't really know if them study guide and cds actually help or just waste of money. Thank you for providing the website. Anyone else that have some helpful websites regarding the TEAS or Hesi? I would really appreciate the help.
I am sure that if you google "HESI practice exams" or "TEAS practice exam" you can find something. I wouldn't spend any money on a review book... unless you have anywhere from $25-$50 to blow. You won't use that for anything else. Maybe look on amazon to see if you can find something there and grab the IBSN # and go to your local library and see if they have it there. It's not a hard test, and anyone who has a little head knowledge can pass it. Process of elimination... it's really not that hard. Good luck!
