HESI Exit

Anybody else taking the HESI (RN) Exit This May as a senior nursing student set to graduate this May/June etc.

Is this your first time taking the EXIT HESI?

How are you preparing? Which books are you using?

What classes are you currently taking?

On a scale from 1-10, rate your anxiety about HESI Exit Exam.

Must you meet a minimum score (900..etc.) to graduate?

How many chances do you get to take the exit exam?

Moral Support Thread? =)

Hello,

I already took the hesi last week. I'm graduating in May. I'm taking medsurge 3 community leadership and ethics. It was my first time taking the hesi exit RN and I got a 934. I wasn't too anxious up until the morning of and when I got into the classroom. On scale if say maybe a 4 on the low end. I had another shot and didn't expect to pass, considering my lack of preparation. I honestly was just doing a bunch of questions. The test was actually pretty tough. There will be some answers that will all look like they're right (as with any question) but you just have to think a little harder. There's a good amount on management and therapeutic communication. I thought those were always easy but they literally took it five steps further making it pretty difficult. About half the test was medsurge and the other half fundies psych maternity. I'd recommend getting good at answering questions. If you practice that then you should be alright.

I needed above a 900. It was 10% of my grade for med surge. I had 2 shots but only needed one.

Best of luck.

First of all, congratulations!

Thank you for the insight.

I'm taking Psych and Leadership & Management.

I take my Exit HESI real real soon ... in about 2 weeks. I've answered about 200 to 500 nclex questions a week since January using Saunders. Sometimes I'd answer on the low end (near 200) but because I'd break down the question into pieces and spend 5 to even 10 minutes researching why I was wrong. Now I'm stepping it up. Starting this week I plan to go through that HESI NCLEX RN review book, reading it while focusing on the HESI Hints. I'm also planning on reviewing all the remediations from past HESI exams. Historically, I've scored well on HESI (900 and above). I also plan to answer the HESI questions that came with the book. Lastly, I plan to read Chapter 5 of Saunders Review book over test taking strategies. Hope all of this works!

Hello, I am supose to gradúate this May, but for the hesi exit I need 950, please help me how can i do this? Please help me
