Hello everyone. Next week, September 25th, 2017, I will be taking the HESI A2 exam which includes Reading, Vocabulary, Math, A & P, the learning styles and personality styles. I've been reviewing the HESI Admission Assessment Book by Elsevier 4th Edition, however I am still very nervous about the exam. Is it hard? Is the book really a big help? I am also scanning through the Pocket Prep App. I also took the PAX exam, to someone who took PAX and HESI already, which is harder? Pls, pls, plsssss I would like to get some ideas and advices on taking A2.
Thank you everyone :).

The book is a really huge help. Go through the grammar section thoroughly and don't skip the reading comprehension. Memorize the math conversions it recommends also.
Thank you :), are the passages on reading too long? And i'm also worried about A & P. I am also surprised that grammar is not required on my school. Right now i am working on memorizing the math conversion, im too slow on that. How about the vocabulary? Are most of the words came from the book? Thank you so much.
The passages for the reading comprehension aren't very long. Maybe about 3 paragraphs on average. In my exam the vocab was combined with the reading comprehension. There would be a couple questions about the passage and then there would be a question about a specific word used in the passage. For the math conversions, I reviewed them right before I went in and then quickly wrote them down. For A&P there was a lot that the book did not go over. Study the hormones and the bones. If you took all of your A&P classes then you should be good. The book does help, but there were some questions that threw me off. I studied the vocab in the book, pocket prep, and I used this girl's quizlet. Super helpful.

Don't stress! It wasn't a super difficult test IMHO. A lot of it is common sense. Just go in there confident and you'll do great :)
Thank you so much again for this game advice :)
You're welcome! And good luck!
