HESI A2

Hello all!!! I am new to this forum but find it fantastic. There are so many things to read about. I am sure I will be on here a ton. Right now I am taking the HESI A2 next week. I have studied the study guide and I have a copy of Kaplins nursing and am going through it right now. I am taking it for Chamberlain but am deathly afraid of the science parts. We are taking the science parts as part of the curriculum but we have to be tested on it before we start. I have a BA but haven't taken biology for 12 years. My A&P experience is pretty limited. My chemistry is pretty much nothing. I have failed the study guide practice tests. I have been reading how this standardized test isn't really standard. There are some colleges that are taking certain parts. I was told that I was to take math, reading comprehension, vocabulary/grammar, chemistry, biology, and A&P. Has anyone taken the HESI A2 for Chamberlain and can give me any tips. I am studying but feel like I am in trouble on the sciences. One of the reasons I wanted to go to Chamberlain is because I would learn those classes there. Being tested beforehand is frightening. The test is computerized and the adviser is not able to tell me anything about it. I will just find out when I get there. Can anyone who has taken it there give me any help on where to study. I have heard that the study guide wasn't helpful on the science. I am so lost. I have a 3.2 on my BA, passed the writing test, this is all I have and I don't have much time.

Please, if anyone has any help or suggestions. I am working about 7 hours per day and feel like I am doing fine but take a practice test and don't do well. If anyone has any idea how tough these biology, chemistry, and A&P questions are, I would really appreciate it.

Thank you for any help!!!!

Sincerely,

Lisa
