It does mention on the Herzing website that state requirements for availability of required clinical courses and eligibility to apply for licensure as a family nurse practitioner vary from state to state. So you can also check with the TX state board of nursing before enrolling. All the best!

Am a student in Herzing FNP program and live in Dallas TX. The Texas BON requirement for getting licensed to practice is that the program be accredited by a national accrediting body and the program should be more than one year in length.
Herzing meets these requirements.
Like I said am in the program and almost graduating too.

Has anyone who resides in TX is currently enrolled at Herzing for FNP? I'm interested in this school but want to make they are approved in TX. Thanks
