Specializes in ED.

I've been an ER RN 3+ years, 1+ year med/surg prior to that, ASN degree. Starting an RN SUPV/ADM position in 1 week. Hard to believe I have been promoted so quickly, but I have been tenacious in learning and work ethic, and have received excellence awards, so I have proved myself. I will be frequenting the Nurse Management threads for sure. I know management will be completely different do any advice is appreciated. Thanks

Congrats RNator!!

What floor are you managing?

I am managing an office.

Awesome. I started doing supervisor in SNF last December. Every other weekend only though because I still have a M-F job. Its nice that I can now include a supervisory position in my resume.

Again congrats on the new position. Im sure you'll do great.

Thanks! That is exactly correct... If it doesn't end up being long term, then at least it's experience that ends up on my resume.

What is your M-F job?
