Are my scores good enough?

Good luck on your upcoming test. I didn't do Kaplan I did Hurst and the instructor gave me some good pointers. I was so focused on my practice test scores that I was forgetting to really look at the questions. What she was talking about was breaking down the questions. First look at what is it asking. Is it a priority, teaching, delegation or intervention. Then go from there. If it's priority look at ABCs and what is urgent. Teaching goes along with outcomes. What do you want to be accomplished from the teaching you give. With delegation you must know what scope of practice a LPN, PCT etc has. Intervention think what is going to help them now. Always think patient safety! What is going to harm them ,kill them or make them start getting better. For med questions that your unfamiliar with look at the answers and determine which on is putting the patient in harms way and what is safe. I hope this helps and again good luck!
