Help with Selection Criteria for Grad Nurse Position

Hi,

I was wanting some help with selection criteria for grad nurse positions, as I have been struggling a bit. I understand that I need to provide specific examples for each, but not sure how to address these 3 criteria in particular:

Demonstrated your knowledge of legislation, standards and policies within your clinical practice

Not sure if I should discuss competency standards, Infection control guidelines, OH&S, code of professional conduct?Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care

Demonstrate how you ensure own practice is of the highest professional standard

Any help would be greatly appreciated... :)

They are looking for specific examples of how you've met that criteria in your education, clinical and in previous related jobs.

How have you used certain policies to enhance your learning and the patient care you've provided? Which policies?

Describe situations that you've prioritized patient care according to the nursing process. What was the outcome? Anything you would do differently?
