Hi all!
I'm new to the site and I really require some advice! I'm currently a university student finishing up my BA in human rights and equity studies this summer and I have now decided that I want to go back to school and become a RN!
I can't decide on if I should do a pre-health sciences program for one year or if I should do the grade 12 science pre- reqs since I lack them all. My GPA at my current univ is not that great. In my first year we had a strike and I was also very sick the past year. So I'm really nervous about getting in if they are to look at my univ marks as well. I have already been accepted into three colleges for pre-health using my high school marks and the deadline to decide is May 1. With the pre-health certificate only some univ will accept these marks while all other univ will accept the grade 12 pre-reqs. I don't want to do an accelerated program because it is really competitive and I'd have to go back to my univ as a non-degree student and OSAP won't cover me for my tuition. I also don't mind an additional four years of schooling.
Please let me know your thoughts. I truly appreciate it! Thank you all so much!
