Hi everyone,
I'm not sure exactly where to put this thread, but I have been looking around online for help and still came up with nothing. I'm at a deep end here and will really appreciate some help.
I am a second degree student, and I'm taking my nursing prerequisite courses at a community college as a non-student right now. I'm hoping to finish it up at the end of this summer. After finishing my courses, I am hoping to apply to a ABSN program at a university for the Spring 2012. Because I am just taking classes to be transfer at the community college, I can not get an financial aid (I know that I can't get any more grants, but I can't even get any federal loans). I don't have a job at this time because I'm planning on focusing on school works. Is there any suggestions or do you all know any scholarship/loans that I can applied to to help me pay for my summer classes?
any help or suggestions are welcome.
Thank you

I am not sure. Even private loans require the student to be degree seeking and attending at least part time. Can you simply apply to a degree seeking program? Apply to a general studies major for the sake of being a degree seeking student. By doing this, it will allow you to take out federal student loans. A financial aid counselor should be able to further assist you with this.

I agree. Otherwise, you'll have to take at least a part time job.
