I would like to finds ways to help my fellow nursing students manage financially while in nursing school and I am looking for advise. After failing a few classes I realize that working and nursing school dont always go hand in hand hence my reason to find ways to assist them. I would love to be able to hand them a bag of grocery at the end of each month or find ways to lower the electric bills. Your suggestions are welcome. :)

well... It's all a matter of Priorities and being frugal.
I am fortunate that my husband works and allows me to stay home and go to school without worrying about working. I am a private CNA and I have just picked up to overnights, which comes to 22 hours a week.
I have stopped spending on anything unecessary. I am always on the kids about turning the lights off, computer, and making sure someone turns the heat off/down when they leave the house. I really look for sales at the grocery store. I do not buy coffee on my way to school anymore, I make it at home and take it with me.
If my husband are fortunate enough to have the time to spend together and go out to eat... I go on Restaurant.com and get 1/2 price gift certificates. Every little bit helps.
I borrowed all my books, or got them cheap on Craig's list. there are plenty of people who have graduated or moved on and do not need their books, uniforms...ect.
I am fortunate I have a supportive husband that supposts us. For those that my be single... Maybe trying to find out if they qualify for any kind of assistance in any area... food, heat, financial aid, scholarships... ect.
Doing private care a couple of overnights gives me the flexibility and I get to stay up all night and read, read, read...
Just some suggestions, hope it helps!:)
Thank you for you kind suggestions. I will be passing these on to my classmates. :)
