Help with Nurse Practitioner License

Hello, I was wondering if anyone knew the time-frame to obtain a NP license from New York State? I have graduated from an out of state program and have sent in all of the forms, but I cannot get an answer as to how long from now it will take for them to issue the actual license. Thanks so much

about 4-6 weeks total-- assuming all forms have been received (Form 2, 2C, transcripts and Form from NYSNA that you took NP NYS prescription course). You can email or call NYS to make sure all forms have been received .

No, 4-6 weeks is NP license application timeframe only.
