HELP! New Grad LPN needs a job.

Published

Hello, I love this site, and I have been using it since I started nursing school but I just sign on this month. I have been looking for a job for about two months now, and if I hear "need one year experience" one more time, I am going to need medical assistant.

So I am going about this another way.

If you are employed somewhere in Georgia (preferably atlanta), who needs an LPN, please contact me so that I can send them my resume. I will put your name down as my referral, so that you can get the referral money. Heck, I am so desperate, you can have half my sign in bonus.

So, we have a deal?:bowingpur

First off, let me start off by saying I don't want half your bonus LOL. But, when i first became an lpn 2 years ago, I started off with 2 company's ParaQuad services that's a home health company in Marietta and Odyssey health care they have a acute care/ hospice facility, and a home health side in atlanta. I worked in the facility. Both these places are hiring, and I do believe, they still hire new grads. Also just today I saw that Grady Hospital has started back hiring LPN's, not sure if you need experience, shoot they pay so little, they should take whom ever they can get. PM me and i can give you contacts. Good Luck:up:

YOU are a goddess among women, Zoey. I applied to Paraquad, two hours later, they called me for a job with very good pay. I am so happy. I wish I could send you a fruit basket, because I can actually afford it now. Thank you so much. You can cross me off your list because this is the Best Christmas Present ever!:D

I'm soooo happy for you. ParaQuad is a great company to work for and they do , offer great pay, my first case with them I started off at $21/per hour. That was a very hard and hi tech case, which gave me great experience. You'll go far, best of luck 2 u!:wink2:

O, by the way, I like being called a goddess among women, just something about the way that sounds LOL:jester:

I am in great need of help as well. I just got my GA license issued and I am looking for a job in Marietta area. I feel the same way you felt about needing experience to get a job. However, I read the advice Zoey gave you about ParaQuad and just sent them my resume. I live in Michigan and I am relocating to GA but I need a job first so I can afford an apartment. I have a place to stay for a couple of weeks but it would be wonderful if I had a few contacts. Do they need an LPN where you are now? What's your advice for me. I appreciate any help.

I know the posts on here is from last year, but if there is anyone who stills know of places that are hiring new graduate lpn. It does not matter where . thanks:crying2:
