Hahah that is so true! I tend to overthink things! Especially when education and money are at stake. I'll be starting at this program this fall and have met a lot of professionals through my current work and they keep saying "that's a great school we hire our nurses from there!" So I think I'm in a good place now:)

hey!! I currently attend Sandhills. They told us the same thing at orientation and I was bothered by it as well. I know that the most recent graduating class had a 100% nclex pass rate. People have NO trouble getting jobs after boards either. It is a really good program. I was also worried about it not being nationally accredited because I will be moving about a year after graduation.

Are you in the program now? Or starting in the fall? Glad to know I'm not the only one :)

According to your school's website, they are regionally accredited. That is exactly what you want. Regional accreditation is the gold standard, and is held by schools such as State institutions (University of North Carolina, University of Wisconsin, and most others...) as well as schools such as Marquette, Indiana, Harvard, MIT... You are fine...

I go there. I plan on joining the ADN class in Feb 2018 for the advanced placement or LPN to RN. They are regionally accredited which is what most schools require to accept the transfer credits. I know they have an agreement with UNC Pembroke and probably many others. It's a pretty good school I actually enjoyed taking my prereqs there. Good luck!

How is the program going so far? I have absolutely no idea what to expect or what you start out learning first.
