Help me I am new and researching

Published

I have a bunch of questions please help me.

Here are some of my questions.

I will be getting married May 23 next year and have a plan that I want to research and make sure I do things the right way. I would LOVE to become an RN someday, and I guess I will share my plan and hope that everyone can reply with suggestions on how to make it better.

1. As a start I plan to attend an STNA class offered at the local tech school. The cost is $600. It includes class books, instruction, and cost of state exam. The state I will be working and studying in is Ohio around the Columbus area.

2. During studying and taking classes for STNA I plan to work in a medical office as a receptionist and filer to be around the medical field and have a part time job while going to class at night.

3. In May, once married, I hope to have completed STNA training and move and find work in Athens OH. Although it is a very poor area my fiance has a great job and we have a house there.

4. While working as an STNA I plan to attend class at OU for free due to fiance and work toward becoming an RN.

I currently have a BA in Recreation from OU and have decided RN is what I have a passion for doing. I have no previous Health Care experience or training so my main questions are is this plan a possiblity and due to not having any experience or training what all do I need to do. I am hoping that by attending an STNA training course I can get some credidation and also having a BA degree will allow me to go through a fast paced RN program....

Alright now that Im off the soap box... I WOULD LOVE REPLIES!!! about any information at all...
