Help! I need advice on nursing school

Hey there everyone,

I have finally decided, after changing my mind on careers countless times, to pursue a career in nursing. However, I only have one and a half years left of school before I get my undergraduate degree in biological sciences at NC State. This is obviously not a BSN and I feel like it would make more sense to either find an accelerated program so I can get my RN or apply for something like a MEPN program. I want to work in the ER or some other kind of trauma unit. Also, I am pretty set on moving to California after I graduate. Can anyone please try and give me some advice on what I should look for in a nursing school or what degree I should pursue?
