Hello!
Please forgive me I am not very tech savvy and I am uncertain if this question will reach the right peeps! So I recently accepted a spot at a prestigious direct entry MSN program (I know many people are not fans of direct entry programs). I chose the WHGRNP specialty. I am happy about the career change. I currently work in Public Health as an epidemiologist and I work a lot with women of childbearing age. This is why women's health peeked my interest. HOWEVER... I am a bit of an anxious person by nature. I also am a HUGE germaphobe. I prefer to work virtually and I occasionally go into an office/clinic.
I would like to connect with people that are currently working in this space. Is virtual work a possibility at a Women's Health NP? I am worried that I chose the wrong specialty. I am clear about becoming an NP but perhaps I am better suited for a different specialty. Can anyone speak about this?
Thanks! 😊
