Hi @desperate789.
I completely understand your frustration. I have graduated last april of 2011 and I have taken the NCLEX-PN twice and failed twice. I became discouraged. My family and close friends kept pressuring me to take it again. I was extremely hard on myself as well because I saw all my classmates working as a nurse! So I decide to schedule my NCLEX-PN for the third time, and I passed!!. I did a lot of reviews, so I'm not too sure which one worked the most. I did the ATI review, Saunders, Kaplan Review (which has live review via internet) , I read the Exam Cram, and Q&A Review for the NCLEX-PN Examination also by Saunders. As far as the amount of times you can take the test, Ive heard a lot of people say 3 times. But a family friend said her cousin took it 6 times, and a friend of mine just told me you could take it up to 8 times. I don't know for sure, you can never truly truly rely on what people say. I wish you the best of luck though!

so ive taken the nclex pn twice and have failed both times. i scheduled myself to retake it within a month of the last time i failed but have since rescheduled three times. at this point ive been discouraged. everyone is pressuring met to retake the test and allthough i want to be a nurse so bad the idea of taking it again and failing terrifies me. so with that said i have several questions 1 how many times can u take the nclex pn in ny. i think this is another thing thats holding me back... i believe i heard somewhere that were limited to three tries so im scared my next will be my last. and 2 does anyone know of any live review courses. i feel like i would d better in a classroom rather than at home studying inbetween baby feedings and yelling at my 5 yearold. any other advice is also very welcomed.. thanks in advance..
