Help with application process!

I plan on applying to a bunch of online schools to give myself the best chance. We do have a local school that has an NP program but I don't wanna count on that. The thing I am encountering is references. I don't know that many people, so I feel people are going to be annoyed writing references for me 5+ times. Any tips on this? I don't have the most stellar GPA (3.2 overall) and 3.4 last 60 hours of nursing school. and I have been only working for a year now. I want to do either FNP or Psych NP. I worked med surg for a year and now I am at a childs psych facility that I love.

Any other application tips?
