hi...i am new to this site...i would really like some help and advice..i am living in Saskatchewan, Canada...we are currently waiting for or perminant residency we are at the last stages of this...i used to do a job in a UK hospital on the maternity wards..i was called a maternity care assistant...i did this job for 4 years i went to college and got a-levels to go to uni to train to be a midwife...i got pregnant and with a newborn amd 3 other kids i decided i needed to put it on the back burner...anyway i have sent my resume to my local hospital here in Canada to the head of nursing she told me she would need to speak to the obs manager to see if there was something simular i could do after 3 months and a number of emails to her im still doing a job i hate...i dont know where to go from here..i am aware that midwives have only just gone into the hospitals here to practice...any advice or help would be appreciated..thanks
