Good morning. I am William. I currently reside and work in Idaho. I have my BSN/RN and CHPN. I have extensive training/knowledge with wound care and am considering the WOCN program at Emory University. My question is this. Has any other BSN RN's successfully started his/her own WOC program independently? I would love to hear the pro's/con's and how to successfully bill, assuming I was able to complete the program and become nationally certified. I know it has been done in the past as I know of an RN in Oregon named Tina who did so under contracts with facilities. Looking forward to everyone's comments. Thanks.
