i applied for the fall 2011 healthcare professional to rn bridge (sandersville) at darton college. my gpa is 3.42 and my overall composite score on the hesi was 90% and my a&p score was 88%. there are 170 people who have applied and they are accepting 40-50. i am nervous about getting accepted because i will still have pe to take and plus 170 people is a lot of competition!!! if anyone else is applying for this program have you received a denial/acceptance letter yet? also, i would really appreciate it if someone who has graduated from this program can tell me a little about it. i know it is going to be very fast paced and will require a lot of dedication as well as a lot of independent studying since:confused: it only meets one day a week. i'm really curious about the clinical aspect of it.

tdr.nurse 5 Posts Aug 3, 2011 I applied also! My GPA from my Darton classes is a 4.0 and I had some transferred in like my science and english's and few others that are As and Bs..So I'm not sure what my GPA is??? On the HESI i got 92.77 composite and 88 on A&P. I agree with you..170 is ALOT of people to compete with!! I am so nervous!! the waiting is the worst!! Did she say when they would be selecting.. I know by August 15 but I couldn't remember is she said if they would start immediately?

tdr.nurse 5 Posts Sep 17, 2011 :D:D:nurse: I was accepted into the Sandersville program starting in a few weeks!!! Soo excited!!! For me the HESI was pretty basic. Just study the AP well because thats the one part they base most of the acceptance on. There wasn't alot of questions and it was pretty random. The other sections were fairly simple though. Good luck to you and I'm sure you will do great!!
