Health Science Class

Hi Everyone,

I had a question about a class that is required for the nursing program, it's called "Medical Measurements and Mathematics". I am in my last semester before applying to the program and was going to take this class next semester. If you are not strong in math, do you think I should take a math class prior to taking this class? I am not sure what is involved. Can anyone give me some ideas what their experiences were like? Thanks!

That sounds like a class in my nursing program called Med Calculations. From what I'm told it focuses on conversions and drug dosaging. Ounces to pounds, liters to Milliliters. I don't think you'll need a whole math class, but just try to find a book where you can study conversions and stuff. You might even want to get an early look at the book they use for the class if it's possible.
