Hi guys! I just received a letter in the mail with my campus assignment. I am being sent to the Plant City campus. That was a complete shocker as I hoped for my first choice of DM campus. I have to be grateful because I was an alternate so I am wondering if that could be why. Plant City was actually my third choice. What did you all get?

Hi! I also got Plant City campus days. That was my first choice though! I was not an alternate so I think that's why I got my first pick. Are you going to be day or nights?

My paper says I have Plant City mornings, but when I looked at the schedule there are no morning classes. There is a 1 to 4 and a 5 to 8. There is a girl in one of my summer classes that is a Plant City now. She seems to think that morning may mean 1 to 4. She told me to just wait until orientation and they will answer everything for me! When I had to pick what order I wanted Plant City in parentheses said may be morning or afternoon classes so I'm not sure. The only thing I'm wondering is maybe hey will change one of those classes. The higher your GPA was the more you had a chance to automatically get your first selection. Since I was an alternate I'm wondering if I was given my fourth choice because it was the choice of the person I am filling in for. I thought it was my third when I wrote this post, but I was wrong.

I also got Plant City mornings, which was my first choice. I look forward to meeting everyone.

I hope you are happy with the PC campus. I am so happy PC was my first choice bc it is more of a straight shot for me. Plus I hate all of the traffic down by the DM campus. I can't freaking wait to start!!!! So ready to soak it all in.

This was my fourth choice and wasn't expected, but I have heard some great things about the campus. I did hear it is hard trying to find a parking spot at DM where Plant City you don't have a problem. I'm just ready to get the ball rolling.

Just to confirm for you all that are going to Plant City. Plant City mornings is considered the afternoon program from 1pm to 4pm. I just confirmed with someone in the Health Admission Dept.

Oh wow really! Why do they have a choice for mornings and afternoons if it is in the afternoon anyway? :/ I guess I will have to make it work! Looking forward to meeting you guys!! Only a few weeks away from orientation! I still have to do my background check/fingerprinting. Has anyone done it yet?

Yes...I got that done ASAP. I know I thought it was weird. I'll get better clarification at Orientation.
